Now Available: OSMD Showcases

Often times with projects like Open Sheet Music Display, open-source supporters are keen to stand behind the projects, co-develop and even build their own ideas on them!

OSMD Showcases

To show that this also holds true for OSMD in more than one way, we have created a new page: Showcases. As the name might give away, this is where we keep and collect posts, which showcase projects that were developed around OSMD. It ranges from new audio features to actual live apps that use our open source project to render their digital sheet music. Find out more about them on our new Showcases page here or in the menu bar at the top of the page. Here are a few examples:

Pianu.com

With Pianu.com you can learn how to play piano on your web browser. It is able to display sheet music online with the help of OSMD. A beginner on the piano can make his first steps at Pianu.com in the Academy. It is specially provided to teach the theory and practice of music step by step. Pianu.com also offers a wide range of songs to practice, which includes classics and contemporary pop songs.

MoonPiano

MoonPiano is also meant to teach you how to play the piano. The application is currently available for Windows, Mac, and Linux and was also developed using OSMD to display sheet music. Soulaymen Chouri developed MoonPiano with the goal to teach people how to make music using MIDI keyboards and in the comfort of their own homes.
